C.A.R.D.S Closet is a free clothing resource for Sun Prairie families that accepts clean and gently used clothing. They have a donation bin at the Prairie Athletic Club or at the Sunshine Place. Please email to request clothing or talk to a school social worker.
Centro Hispano's mission is empowering youth, strengthening families and engaging the community. The Centro staff use referrals, existing services and resources to help Latino families aspire upward to reach their personal goals and dreams.
Community Action Coalition

The Community Action Coalition provides services in three key areas: housing, food, and clothing. Their mission is to develop the economic and social capacities of individuals, families, and communities to reduce poverty in Dane, Jefferson, and Waukesha counties.
Dane County Time Bank
The TimeBank is an exchange system in which people receive credits for their service. Anyone who helps another member earns time they can spend on service from anyone else in the network.
Early Childhood Initiative
The Early Childhood Initiative provides free support centered around family stability, wellness, child development and healthy relationships for pregnant women and families with children ages 0-4.
Home Mission Fund

The Home Mission Fund provides assistance to community members who have experienced a sudden and temporary loss of income. The fund covers eviction prevention, car repairs, and utilities.
Joining Forces for Families
Joining Forces for Families is a program through Dane County Department of Human Services that helps the Sun Prairie Community through resource connection, creative problem solving and advocacy.
RED Latina is a group of people willing to help the Latino community and others in need. Focusing on some of the common problems, such as English Language Support, Medical or Dental Orientation, Social Worker Channeling, Moral Support in crisis situations and more.
Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry
Serving the residents of the Sun Prairie School District, the Pantry provides monthly food allowances, a mobile food pantry, Thanksgiving food baskets and weekend snacks at elementary schools.
Sunshine Place is a single point of access to social services for Sun Prairie residents in times of need. In addition to being a community resource center, the Sunshine Place also has a resource lobby with free access to computers, printing and faxing.
