City of Sun Prairie EMS
Welcome to Sun Prairie Emergency Medical Services!
As the Chief of the Sun Prairie Emergency Medical Services department, it is my privilege to represent the men and women that serve you. The paramedics at Sun Prairie EMS are dedicated professionals, committed to providing the best possible care to their patients, and taking on great personal sacrifice to do so. In addition to extended periods of time spent away from their families, they spend countless hours studying and training in the latest emergency medical techniques, as well as participating in innovative initiatives to improve pre-hospital medicine.
Since October of 1977, Sun Prairie EMS has been proudly serving the citizens of the City of Sun Prairie, the Town of Bristol, as well as the surrounding communities. Over our 40 year history, we have grown from a volunteer service to a full-time career agency, and are pleased to provide the highest level of pre-hospital emergency medical care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Protecting approximately 35,500 residents within a 46.5 square mile area, and transporting to all seven major hospitals in the area, it is our pleasure to continue the legacy of selfless service to others that is so deeply engrained in our culture. We look forward to many more years of serving our community with not just emergency response, but also public education, outreach, and support.
I welcome your feedback; please feel free to contact me anytime with concerns and compliments.
